Activity Three: Searching Published Media for Grammar Mistakes

This activity enables students to actively seek grammatical errors in published media or even on TV. The importance of this activity is that it helps students realize the importance of correct grammar usage, as well as reassuring students that even professionals make grammar mistakes.

You may chose to have students read online articles or to read newspaper articles to find mistakes. Although chances are that mistakes won't be found, the ultimate goal of this activity is to get students to read and to learn how to imitate good writing.
